A: Yes. It’s the ideal way to accurately determine your space and belongings. However, with COVID-19 concerns, we take full precautions, wearing masks and gloves if requested when entering your home. It’s also possible to do an over-the-phone estimate (note: this may not be as accurate) or a virtual estimate.
Q: Will I receive an itemized list of my possessions before they are loaded onto the truck?
A: Yes, especially if you’re moving long-distance or into storage. We provide a complete list, which also features the condition of every item.
Q: Are your movers full-time employees?
A: Yes. Our full-time employees are licensed and insured, are background-checked, drug-tested, and trained on site in our facilities.
Q: Will the same crew work my move from start to finish?
Yes, for short local moves. For longer distances that may take several hours or more than one day, there may be a different crew to finish up the work. Either way, you’re guaranteed great services end to end.
Q: What steps do you take to protect my furniture and home during the move?
Our trained crews pad all furniture with durable stretch wrap that not only protects it during transport but that also lets the fabric breathe. We will also pad critical areas such as carpets, doors, floors, woodwork, door jambs, and banisters.
Q: What happens if a driver calls in sick or a truck breaks down?
Don’t worry. We will send out another truck, driver or crew immediately.
Q: Do you own all of your moving trucks?
Yes, we own, operate and maintain our trucks in-house to ensure optimal performance and decrease the likelihood of breakdown.
Q: Will my insurance cover my belongings during the move?
A: Through our company, you get a small amount of insurance coverage on each item. However, we recommend taking out a larger policy to fully cover you in the event of loss or damage.
