GUIDELINES
LET US PACK YOU!
We highly recommend our packing service. We have a professional, experienced packing
crew. We will be happy to set an appointment with you. Call and speak wit!l a
Customer Service Representative for details.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO PACK (see TIPS)
Everything that can be packed in a box should be packed. Paper and Plastic bags
will not be moved. See our Packing Guideline for more details. This will insure
an efficient and stress free relocation.
CONTENTS OF DRAWERS
The contents of desk drawers and filing cabinets must be removed and placed in
boxes. Clothing may remain in dresser drawers. Please remove any other items that
are loose in drawers. These things may fallout or damage your furniture.
HANGING CLOTHES
Clothes on hangers must be in boxes. Wardrobe boxes may be rented or sold the
day of your move. Please let us know ahead of time how many you will need. If
you are unsure how many you will need, please call one of our relocation specialists.
APPLIANCES
Empty the contents of your refrigerator and freezer. We cannot disconnect or reconnect
any gas appliance or hard-wired electrical appliances such as chandeliers. Upon
request, we may disconnect and reconnect washers and dryers, if they find it safe
to do. Do not forget dishes left in diswasher .
CLEANLINESS
Movers have the right to refuse to move any unsani~ items. Please wipe or clean
any items that are soiled. Our pads and equipment must be clean for our next customer.
SAFETY
Movers cannot transport flammable liquids, firearms, or explosives. Any type of
fuel tank must be emptied before it can be moved. Place packed boxes and loose
items such as items too large too fit in a box, in the garage or near the door
they will be loading from. This will insure no tripping over boxes while moving
furniture. Cleaning products should be packed last and moved by you if at all
possible. So as to not have a chemical spill that could be hazardous. Also pull
as much as you can out of the attic for safety.
ARRIVAL TIME
Arrival time is approximate. We will inform you by phone of the arrival time,
if it differs from the estimated time. In the event we need to contact you, please
leave your phone service connected or provide a pager or mobile number where you
may be reached until your move is complete.
BADWEATHER
The move will continue in bad weather. If you decide the weather is too bad, and
ask the movers to temporarily stop the move, you will be charged the hourly rate,
even though the movers are not , moving furniture. You or the movers may decide
to terminate services for the day and reschedule for the next day or as soon as
we can have a truck available. Payment must be made when services are rendered.
A new contract will be issued for the following day to be paid in full at completion
of relocation.
